Overall we were wowed by the whole experience!
To Start: Delicious flat breads and mouth watering antipasto!
For Mains: Now you’re talking! We had our favourite! The whole sea breem was to die for - really really flavoursome. This dish alone overwhelmed us!! Really enjoyed the risotto and the pork dish too. The pizza was tasty too but wasted on a taster menu like this as the other food was so good. But if you’re a big pizza fan - you’ll enjoy it! We were least impressed with the Strozzapreti Pugliese - couldn’t really taste the flavour described and it felt a bit stodgy - but going back to the fish…. delissimo (if that’s even a word!)
To Finish: We felt the desserts were all a bit too rich but enjoyed the affogato and the pistachio gelato, which we’d been looking forward too. Didn’t enjoy the Bunet Piemontese as much.
Thank you Strada - we will be visiting again and guess what we’ll be eating… Did I mention how much we enjoyed the Orata Al Forno?
The restaurant and staff were lovely as always at Strada, we were very well looked after.
The Olives were nice and firm, and very large!
The Sciacciatella Aglio Flat Bread was lovely and crisp, the rosemary sprigs were a nice touch and they smelt lovely, although the garlic flavour was a little too delicate for our liking and they could have done with a lot more flavour and butter.
The Antipasto was full of fantastic flavours, beautifully presented on slate, visually very pleasing!
The Strozzapreti Pugliese had a nice subtle hint of chilli but it could have done with a bit more sauce to make it more creamy as it was a bit dry.
The Risotto Zucca had a great scent, the salty pancetta set off the creamy rice really nicely, the occasional crunchy pine nut was lovely and more pancetta would only improve this dish.
The Quattro Stagioni was fully loaded with a great range of flavourful toppings, the artichokes could have been more delicately chopped, and the tomato base was lacking, leaving the pizza quite dry.
The Saltimbocca Maiale was delicious. There gravy was tasty and the crisp, fresh beans were well selected. The mash was lovely and fluffy, the pork was a nice cut, not too chewy. A classic British style dish with Parma ham adding a subtle, elegant Italian twist
The Orata Al Forno was beautifully tender and the presentation was fantastic.
The Affogato looked, smelled and tasted lovely. We loved that the espresso was in a separate pouring jug, as neither of us like coffee. The iced nougat itself was not coffee flavoured and was light and creamy.
The Bunet Piemontese was nicely presented, lovely and chocolatey, but as a non-drinker I would have preferred it without the amaretto liqueur
The Pistachio Gelato was my favourite dessert, lovely and creamy, delicately flavoured, well presented and finished with a cigarello, fantastic!

Service excellent, all dishes arrived at the right temperature and we were made to feel most welcome. a great wine list too and the recommendation was spot on.

We booked & arrived at 7pm, excellent welcome though restauraunt was almost full as show on at Symphony Hall.
You can eat here and go to ICC Symphony Hall [50 meters walk] without getting wet - along artium.
The service from Monica was excellent, and both the “Whole Pan Fried Sea Bream” & “Strozzapreti Pugliese” also the “Affogato” in sweet menu, were the highlights.
We would certainly eat here again and recommend this place but best to book if attending a show at Symphony Hall or ICC.
This was a lovely experience - thank you Strada for giving me the opportunity to visit your restaurant and sample your menu.
I took my partner and two friends for a meal there for lunch on my birthday and very much enjoyed it.
The surroundings and atmoshpere were calm, relaxed and stylish. The staff were courteous, attentive and well informed and the food was excellent.
I must admit I don’t usually choose Italian restaurants when I eat out, but the Strada offer was a million miles from the soggy pasta and sticky sauces I tend to associate with Italian food in Britain.
The olives and garlic bread were fresh and tasty and kept our hunger at bay as we decided which of the dishes to sample.
The starter plates of anti pasto were generously portioned and arranged beautifully on the stylish serving slates. I loved the olive tapenade that came with it and have been searching for it since to serve at home.
For mains, two of us had the sea bream, which was perfectly cooked with lemon, and two of our party had the pork which was tender and again beautifully cooked. Both main meals were served with fresh vegetables and tastily prepared potatoes.
The pudding choice was excellent and all the ones we tried were delicious.
I will definitely choose to eat at Strada again - a really enjoyable lunch.
We enjoyed a wonderful tasting menu at Strada last weekend. Every course was amazing, we were truly stuffed by the end! Olives and bread were a nice start to the meal, with a great choice of antipasto for us to share. The tapenade was the best, and the buffalo mozzarella melted in your mouth. Loved the pasta and risotto dishes! Both were dishes I would not have selected, but will definitely do so in the future. The pizza was great as always at Strada, love the thin crust. The Parma ham section was my favorite. Although the sea bass was a little bland, I enjoyed the pork and would definitely go for that again. A lovely warming winter dish? For dessert, the chocolate mousse won me over! Even after all that food, I pretty much finished it! I would serve it with a scoop of vanilla gelato in future, as it is quite rich on its own. My husband enjoyed his pistachio gelato too. All in all, we enjoyed an amazing meal at Strada -can’t wait to return to order the new dishes again!
